And here’s that powder coated puppy stuffed in place!

We squirted on the color and clear, sanded and buffed it, and finally we are ready to assemble the car.
Hey, check out this email from a guy in California

Hello:

I saw your story on the (Nash Bridges) Cuda.
There was actually 5 built. I know because I possess the rare 5th Cuda built from the show that I purchased directly from (name omitted). The 5th car was built from a 73 Hardtop and actually converted into a 71 look alike for FX work. This car is also an AT car and is in nice presentable condition, as well as a nice driver. It looks very showy, but not show condition. This car was used from the 5th season on, and that is why most people think there was only 4, but the 5th was added for FX shots.I own this car in the San Francisco Bay Area, and have the original paper work to back it up.
Please correct your #s info if you want it accurate.
Thanks, (name omitted)

No, THANK YOU! We enjoy hearing and learning all we can about these famous cars! We'd love to see some pics on that one. Especially photo's of what must have been an elaborate makeover.

Moving on; we went ahead trimming out this Nash Bridges ‘Cuda. We even got to screw on those coveted ‘71 gills. How'd 'ya like to live in that house, (BACKGROUND) and watch this sort of sh!t goin' on all day?

We also got a head start, behind the scenes. Firewall assembly begins, behind the firewall with the heater box and vents. Notice all the extra wiring? That’s for the cameras. As part of the restoration process we are reinstalling all the wiring and camera mounts from the show.

Funny; even though the Rallye dash had a tachometer, (a now working tachometer) there was a big honking, Mallory tach strapped to the steering column on the show. Odd; neither worked on the show; both will now. This Rallye Dash is a work of art. Kudos to David at PCG.
