Actually, poor prepwork made for obvious paint adhesion problems and a big mess in our shop. Hey...there was a blue car under there. Loyal Mopar fans know; this Nash Bridges 'Cuda started life as a blue '70 340 convertible and was transformed into a '71 for the show. Anybody got a broom?

QUALITY...again?? While we were ridding the car of that previous resto attempt, we found this: under layer after layer of paint was the emissions decal from a former life. Nothing like this rolls out of our shop!

Here, we answer that age old question; just how many quarterpanels does one 'Cuda need? Notice that even the top layer was in bad shape.....

.....Butt....we'll fix that! It's what we do. It gets better from here......

Hey....that thing got a HEMI in it? It will soon. Yes, although the Shaker said HEMI on the show, this will be the first real Hemi Nash Bridges car! It's hard to believe but of the 4-cars used in the show; none had a HEMI.
