2004

Another Carlisle bites the dust. Frankly, we had our best time ever. We took the weekend off and had a Customer Appreciation Party. Rather than filling our normal display space, (located under Carlisle's grandstand) with primo restoration parts, we showed off a little. In our display was none other than the JUST FINISHED, Nash Bridges 'Cuda!
Needless to say the Totally Auto built, TV star car nearly out-shined our two SEMA style show trucks, a triple black SRT-10 (yes, the one from Daytona Speedweek) and a Hemi Ram wearing our now famous and often duplicated AAR stripes, which are available in the PARTS section of this website.

BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE "All-Chrysler Nationals"!
Team Totally Auto gets the job of detailing out this not-so-fresh from the museum former race car. We often get the job of making those cars that look so good, look well, so good.

Outside, we had a tent chock full of Totally Auto history. This white with red Daytona was built by Totally Auto in the early 90's and recently was on display at the Floyd Garret museum. The Superbird is in the hands of a private collector. Again, built by Totally Auto, this one is a former record holder at Carlisle. Anyone who missed the Curious Yellow 71 Barracuda convert had to be blind. This is the car that coined the term RESTIFIED, in the early 90's, when there were no other words to describe it in a magazine article aptly named, "A Curious Shade of GREENELLO!"

The SME (Standard of Mopar Excellence) was once again busting at the seams with some of the finest mopars in the country. That's Totally Auto owner, Dave Ferro congratulating the owner of that well deserving T/A.

SME is THE judging at Carlisle!

Out of hibernation, Ferro's own, wild 1967 GTX CONVERTIBLE was throughly thrashed in Carlisle's burnout pit. Notice there was smoke and the car was sideways, even before the announcer could say go!

Built by Totally Auto in 1989 this one was featured in the PPG Repaint Reporter, it was a High Performance Mopar cover car, a Performance Car cover feature, a HPM GT-XCESS drag car, and a seven time magazine feature car. 1st Place Chryslers @ Carlisle, 100 points (twice) and 1st place and Best of Show at Mopar Atlantic Nationals, Best of Show Mopars in the Mountains, ISCA Top Ten Street Machine, ISCA Best Paint, ISCA Best Interior, ISCA Best Undercarriage, ISCA Best Engine, 1st place Mopars at Maple Grove, 1st Place Mopar Nationals and many more! Never took a second place! Ran 11.67 in drag shootout and with 12lbs. of air still in the slicks the car created more of a stir than smoke; in Carlisle's burnout contest.

TRADITIONS CONTINUE at Carlisle!
