BRINGS YOU THE MOPAR ONLY

The End
Welcome to MoPowerTour Day Seven
Bristol Tennessee.

We hit the road early today and headed out to our morning meeting place.

Even on this rainy morning, there were already a few Mopar friends there when we showed up.

Again, the Kentucky roads were to-die-for!

And of course, it wouldn't be Power Tour with out the obligatory house-in-the road!

Each day, it seems, different Mopars pop into the Tour. Some just joining in, some who've been searching for us or trying to keep up all the way cross-country.

We were having so much fun, I didn't even know the cops had come, until......I looked at this picture!

We even got an escort to the state line in Virginia.

Today, we spent some time with the "Official Tour" and it was side-by-side, at speed for quite a few miles.

A car this fast, this fun that handles this good, with over the road comfort and ....... IT'S GETTING almost 22MPG? This much fun should be illegal.
On another note, I gotta get out of the habit of taking pics of my speedo at speed...lmao

What's this? Blue skies?

Kinda forgot what that was like..

Not so sunny for this guy though, as he got a little cross-eyed.

I mean, come on..... the roads just git better!

We rolled up on this place, The Red Stone Drive-in, for lunch off 23. The only thing sweeter then the food there is that primo duster in back.

LOL, the food was worth the wait.

Who wouldn't love this place?

And love it we did! All the way to Bristol Tennessee!
Useless Bristol TN., info you may like to know;
*Bristol is considered to be the birthplace of country music.
*Bristol Motor Speedway is considered the worlds largest amphitheater.
*My friend Kevin has a really cool dog named Bristol.
*Bristol is where the 09 power Tour ended, WE still have about 600 miles to go.
*At this point we have traveled over 2500 miles!

We clocked in for the final time this trip....

Although Chevy-heavy, Bristol was chock full o Mopar!

With new-found interest, I asked Rob if that little red thing was a Fiat. He answered, "I don't know but... I better get a picture of it". Times.. they are a changin'.

Although Detroit was our favorite stop, Bristol had the most in automotive activities. Both drag race fun and...........

......dizzying round-d-round!

This fine couple chased us for 7-days, only to finally catch up with us at the end.......... and with that............ the Tour was over...

This evening, instead of multiple muscle Mopars following us around, it was Rob Wolf in a rental heading for the airport.

Plans for the Challenger have been formulated. I'm gonna make it match the wife's 70. Were gonna re-paint it Go-Mango, SuperCharge it and MCG is going to follow the progress in the pages of the magazine. But first... we're gonna take the two of them and display them, side-by-side at Carlisle.
To all the folks we've met this week a hearty thanks, you made it a lot of fun. To those who still think I drive too fast, were making plans for a elderly trip to Florida this winter. No, just kidding, it's in my blood and I, just can't drive 65!
