BRINGS YOU THE MOPAR ONLY

Here it is! The 2008 MoPowered Tour
Camera/Staff Vehicle, '62 9-passenger Wagon!

Timmy and Mike Ryan made had their fun in a big way on last year’s Power Tour with their father-and-son constructed ‘Cuda. The purple cruiser was one of the most trouble-free Mopars on the whole tour. Timmy is a tech at Totally Auto so he knows what it takes to get the job done right the first time! Keeping in mind they felt the 'Cuda's trunk was a bit tight last year...........

This year, the guys are bringing the whole family along in a Mopar “family wagon” Belvedere wagon. The brainchild of Timmy, this ‘62 Belvedere II nine-passenger wagon is being built by, and for, everyone in the family, including sister Jordan and mom, Linda. They’ll all four pile into the form fitting interior in a few months and join in the mischief that has become the Mopowered Tour.

The wagon is being constructed entirely in the Ryan family garage, and it features a cross rammed 413 Max Wedge for power. There’s a Gear Vendors overdrive automatic behind the wedge, and a heavily modified suspension sports Pirate Jack’s Brakes Components four-wheel discs. Mike simply quoted, "having access to Totally Auto's junk pile has proved invaluable."

Look for power everything on the wagon, a CD changer, four bucket seats, a DVD player, and even a Wii gaming system built into the tailgate for entertainment on the boring stretches of interstate. The underlying theme is interesting - a Pro Touring wagon that pays homage to vintage drag cars. The basic white paint is soon to be accented by blue liquid flames and Mopar graphics, so it’s not going to be subtle by any stretch of the imagination. Watch for updates on this one, and if you’re in the northeast, watch for it making shakedown cruises on back roads very soon. As quickly as these guys work, the wagon will likely be finished by the time you read this.
