Let’s get out there a have a good time.
Spring has sprung and its once again time to start thinking
about making plans for Hot Rod magazine’s Power Tour. If you’re a real
car guy, then this is one car cruise you have to make at least once
before you die. This year, the rolling car show kicks off in
Cleveland, Ohio, travels to Kalamazoo, Michigan, then Racine,
Wisconsin, Springfield, Illinois, Evansville, Indiana, then snakes
south to Memphis, Tennessee, and finishes up in Little Rock, Arkansas.

2007 HOT ROD Power Tour Schedule
Saturday, June 2: Cleveland, Ohio
Sunday, June 3: Kalamazoo, Michigan
Monday, June 4: Racine, Wisconsin
Tuesday, June 5: Springfield, Illinois
Wednesday, June 6: Evansville, Indiana
Thursday, June 7: Memphis, Tennessee
Friday, June 8: Little Rock, Arkansas

Many of you remember last year, GM muscled their way into the Tour and flat out forbade Mopar and Ford from being represented at any of the official stops. They even went as far as to cover up the non-Chevy
signs at race tracks along the way.

Two years ago, Mopar Collector’s Guide and Totally Auto got together
and started what we dubbed the “MoPower Tour,” a tour within the Power Tour, for our Mopar brethren.

Over the years, we’ve purposely kept the Mopower Tour low key, partly to fly under the radar of the powers that be, but mostly so we wouldn’t be tied down with too much
structure on our trip.

This year, Mopar Collector’s Guide, Totally Auto, and Mopar Performance are taking the Mopower Tour to the next level - a bit more structured, but a lot more fun!

Now, factory backed by Mopar Performance, the official name of the tour will change to The Mopowered Tour.

Together with Mopar Performance and local area clubs and
dealerships, we’re putting together special Mopar stops outside the
official Power Tour venues that will be jumping way after everyone’s
out of the official stops.

There will be special gifts and unique entertainment, so this is really something you don’t want to miss.

To give the next generation a taste of hot rodding in its truest
form, stupid horsepower, and the open road, we are encouraging
MoPowered cruisers this year to bring their young kids along for the trip.

We already have over eight guys bringing their teenage daughters!
And two father/son teams! We’d love nothing more than to have you and your son or daughter join us for the time of your life.
This will be a family friendly event. All we ask is, if you’re going to join us for The Mopowered Tour is please pre-register on line so we can make sure we’ve got enough food and goodies for you and yours along the
way.
