BRINGS YOU THE MOPAR ONLY

Welcome to MoPowered Tour 2007

As you know there is a twist to our not so subtle past activities. This year, we're bringing the kids! Hey, when a daughter asks her father to spend 8-days on the road, TOURING 10 STATES with a bunch of Hot Rods and good friends. what's Dad to do? A once-in-a-lifetime chance to hang with my kid, my good friends and the cars we ALL love, plus meeting and making new friends........ so here we are, just weeks away!

Now, without further ado,

WE ARE PROUD TO INTRODUCE THE NEW FOR 2007
KIDS ONLY SECTION!

There, we will allow all the kids attending the MoPower tour to post
their very own view, daily, via both their own photography
and in their own words.

Now for something a bit more serious. If you've read the previous pages, you already know we planned on supercharging my Magnum SRT-8. Well, gotta love it when a plan comes together and, as of this writing, we're all done except the dyno time! Incidentally, I never really thought of taking a late model car on the Tour but unless you've had your head in the sand for a few years, guess what? We are re-living a time when tons of power and great cars are back in the show room! As far as a supercharged Magnum SRT-8; I wouldn't give it Musclecar status but there's no doubting it's a Supercar! Nearly uncontrollable off the line.

Many may Remember John Skidmore's 440-6bbl-TNT powered 1970 300 convertible as last years, Mopar Collector's Guide Staff car. The car I drove on the Tour for 06. Well, not one to rest on his laurels, "Skids" had Totally Auto Inc. go through the car front to back, (and it's a l o n g walk) and add some upgrades like a full TTI exhaust and headers. His last test-drive went better then mine did last year where I got rear-ended by a rice-burner; (see power tour 06).

Also prepping his ride for the tour is Totally Auto Restorationist, Tim Ryan. Tim will be taking some time off from sanding the fender of a 69 Hemi Road Runner, and hopping in this crazy Hemi Magnum Powered 'Cuda along with his dad Mike.

Their '70 Barracuda is powered by a 2005 5.7 Hemi with a 727 trans. Its a TCI 727 with a 2500 stall convertor and 4-wheel disc brakes from Willwood and Magnum Force. There's a Magnum force front suspension, TTI exhaust, Sony Xplode stereo and lots more going on in there.

And then there's Charlie and his Road Runner. New tires, new shifter,
a clutch, a boom-boom stereo, electronic ignition, "beep beep' alarm, some front end work, new shocks, an Ebelbrock carb and more went in to prep him for the road. Recently he brought us a wing for the birds tail and a crazy/cool steering wheel however we have questioned his priorities as he still has retained the 3-stop-pedal-drop drum brakes.
Go figure.

Over 35 Mopars have pre-registered for the 2007 MoPowered Tour including no less than 3-wing cars. Check out Joanne Nabors' 69 Daytona; ready to roll across the USA. Also tagging along are a 2 SuperBirds, a 300 convertible, 2 Super Bee's, 2 Chargers (1 old, 1 new), 9 Challengers, 2 Dusters, 4 'Cuda's, a Polara, 2 Road Runners, 2 GTX's, my Magnum, a Dart, a Fury, 2 Coronets and a really cool street rod. And something called a Travco, 440 powered no less. That tally's 37 Mopars, 68 people, and no less than 27 going the long haul!

And then there's this guy who's still looking for where the parties are. Actually, we are too. We are awaiting info direct from Chrysler as to the where's and when's of what's going on with the parties after the party. We've heard of cook-outs, drive-in movies and impromptu concerts, but have no official word..... yet.
Check back often as we will be posting updates here at www.totallyautoinc.com.

As an added bonus, Carlisle is offering a special parking location at their Chryslers @ Carlisle Event, July 6,7 and 8, just for MoPowered Tour long haul participants. This special parking is being set aside in the center of the show field next to the Totally Auto sponsored SME judging arena, AND ITS FREE! Passes will be mailed the week of June 11, 2007 that will allow the car and its passengers FREE entry to the show. Again this is solely for MoPowered Tour Long Haulers who have pre-registered. Just another reason for signing up and having a good time.

Additionally, we have arranged for a transporter from Arkansas to Pa. It is capable of transporting 12 and at this time there are 4 positions filled. If you would like to have a vehicle transported north, after the tour,
please contact Charlie via email at: mopowertour@aol.com.

We've also got the shirts coming along. Special thanks goes to "Skids" at skidscustoms.com for the great and speedy artwork. Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that MCG editor Rob Wolf, gets them printed and shipped in time to load them all into the Magnum. This will be one year I'm glad we're not taking an E-body.

Speaking of trunks; Remember, not only am I carrying all those T-shirts, all Rob Wolf's camera gear, his and Kelsey's stuff and mine......
.......PLUS, I'M BRINGING MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER!
(READ; LOTS OF LUGGAGE)

Here, Dan from Totally Auto is building a custom enclosure for my factory sub. Hopefully moving the box from the center of the trunk floor will free up some storage space. Hey, did I mention tools? And whoa, I still gotta order Charlie an A/C compressor and finish all those cars for Carlisle, um..... gotta go....... Dave Ferro

Thanks for registering and see ya on the road.
