Kids rock Cleveland...but we were happy to get out of town. But first.......
.......what else but a gas fill-up? Then we were on our way from Cleveland, Ohio to Kalamazoo Michigan. a mere 268 miles in THE POURING RAIN. Newt discovered that he purchased so much gas on his trip from Jersey that his Credit card company literally thought it was stolen and put a stop on the card!
This Chebbie must have thought the only way he could beat the Ryan family's 'Cuda was to try to race them with the 300 blocking their way!
Ahhhhhhh, this is what we call fun, a line of Mopars as far as the eye could see! All the while bonding with our kids which has proven to make this trip VERY SPECIAL indeed.
Wrong way? No, I think we got that part right
Seeing old friends, and making new ones, that's what this Tour is all about.
And friends we made! Here's the 2007 MoPowered Tour gang! A morning stop at BE & A netted us some coffee and doughnuts plus, a catalog chock full of quality reproduction parts. One of those pictured here is a Chebie guy in disguise, can you guess who?
Yea, its been a rainy mess, like big-time rainy but when there's a SuperBird in your rear view, it's pedal to the metal or some ruffled feathers.
A rainy day on the Shower Tour made better by a group of 1970 Mopars! Even a traffic jam can be fun when your amongst friends!
And then the bird flies the coop
Yes, Mopar fans are a close group but this is ridiculous. Hot Rod's parking arraignments were a bit tight, even for us. No-one was too close except Charlie as he opened his door at the exact moment his A/C decided to blow up, INSIDE THE CAR! An erie fluorescent green glowing mist lingered about the car for a bit, but Charlie was hotter about it then the car! Then there's Newt, poor soul, adding insult to his credit card injury, this guy has been traveling with NO WIPERS!
But then..... things could be worse! Is this that new Convertible Camaro prototype? We'll send the girls tomorrow to find out. Well, maybe not, if they do our laundry tonight!
