Here we go, its just a couple of days now till we hit the highway! We've been, just like you, jamming to get all the cars ready to roll. Yes, that's a red Daytona reflecting in my door.

If you are trying to find us in the sea of red Chivies and Blue Phords; THIS WILL BE THE CAR TO SPOT! Those who are pre-registered should look for this car Saturday, June 2, at the IX Center in Cleveland, OH or SUNDAY morning at the drivers meeting! Look for the "Cruise Ship" at shows, races, and maybe even a drivers meeting or two, lol. Its trunk will be full of the goodie bags for pre-registered participants and there's lots of goodies in that bag! There's one-of-kind T-shirts, credential lanyards, Skids Customs shirts, notebooks, decals and lots more! MCG will include issues of the magazines and other swag and there's even MoPowered Tour art and crayons for the kids! Plus it will hold event schedules, driving directions, last minute updates and MORE!

In fact, research shows that the Museum is the most popular and best-attended hall of fame in the country. We invite you to come to Cleveland to journey through the past, present and future of rock and roll.
Who knows what time we'll show up, but we are ALL planning a visit.

ROADTIP; If you are with the group at the scheduled stops or on the road, you have the best chance of getting a pic of your car on the site and/or in the magazine. If you come along side of us on the road and you see Rob Wolf or one of us hanging their head out the window with a camera; DON'T BLOW BY! Instead pass safely at a slow steady pace allowing us time to get a good-clear shot of your car on the highway. Same goes when you see any of the camera or film crews!
Monday, June 4th
BRUNCH STOP LANE AUTOMOTIVE (See tour direction sheet)
ROADTIP *********A WARNING FROM AN ANONYMOUS FRIEND!!!!*******
"Just want to say watch yourself between Racine and the Wisconsin borders. Maybe you are already aware of this speed trap but
if you don't have Wisconsin plates they will stick it to you."
Monday night, (after 8PM) join us for the fun as downtown Racine activities begin.
Tuesday Morning June 5th the Tour leaves from GREAT LAKES DRAGAWAY
POINT OF INTEREST, (well, kinda) In Gays, IL, on S.R 16 look to your left to see the Historic 2-story Out house! lol
Also of note on your way to Springfield is the little town of Odell Illinois. If you have the time, check out the restored 1920s gas station. The gas station is on old Route 66 and is visible from I 55 but you have to get off at the Odell exit to actually get to it. A friend (Mike) met the mayor of the town a few years back and he was a great guy. They are pretty proud of their little station and it's a great spot for some photos!
TIP; MCG WILL BE SHOOTING PICS THERE FOR THE MAG
Tuesday Night; Edelbrock will be serving Larry Price's Whole Hog BBQ at its cruise night in Springfield, Illinois.

Well, we did our part. We set ourselves up for a great time. The rest is up to you, GO FOR IT! Stop by and see us, go your own way, stick with the "official" Tour, see the country, or just enjoy the back-roads; Just get out there and have a good time!
Please note: Mopar Collectors Guide (MCG Inc.) and Totally Auto Inc. (T/A) are only doing this for fun. We go each year on the "Official Tour" and enjoy meeting you on the road. Other then our love for the cars, we are in no way affiliated with the "Official Tour". The "Official Tour" is a GREAT time and they do a lot of work to make each day special. Historically, we do not follow rules well and have a little trouble with authority, therefore; there is no expressed or written guarantee that we will always be where we say we will. We cannot be responsible for driving directions, detours, or any other hazard from the road. This is mainly because we are basically an irresponsible bunch. Depending on what kind of night we had before, we may get up and leave a little late. Other times; we may bug out early. The "official Tour" is structured, we are not. By signing up for the MoPower Tour you are given the chance to join in the kind of fun we have been having for many years now. Remember; registering was free, we did not do this for money or gain. The stuff you get is free as is any of the special events we are listing, (with the exception of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame). THE ONLY WAY TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE "OFFICIAL TOUR" IS TO SIGN UP AND PAY THE FEE to HOT ROD! Registration for that has closed however we believe you can still register at the first stop. MCG and T/A are not responsible for anything that happens to you, your car, your person or your belongings; even if the magazine editor attempts to "fix your car".
NOTE: new pages are up on this site including daily driving directions. You may want to bookmark or save the "MAP PAGE" to your favorite places if you are following along daily. Remember; you may need to refresh the "MAP PAGE" as we will be posting there daily, sometimes late, in the evening. Buttons on the map page become "live" after we have posted the daily escapades. See 'Ya down the road!!
