Power Tour? What Power Tour? We don't need no stinkin' drivers meeting. We simply cutout early and hit the road runnin'. Bright skies, cool cars and those Chrysler boys right behind us........

Not used to riding in an E-body with SE trim, Charlie burnt the bottom of his arm as the sun burnt the top side. On the Power Tour, the way to tell drivers from passengers is simply to look and see which arm is more sunburnt.

Of course, when you get together with a few thousand friends, there is bound to be some traffic issues.

Cruising the two lane black top and backroads of America is always a joy. Here, somewhere in Indiana is "The Ritz," check it out, coming soon, "Footloose."

Simply stopping for lunch can be a goof. This place, The Roadhouse, has maybe ten tables, one waitress, a cook, and about 75 people waiting. Food was good but lunch took a couple of hours.

Gas stops also take a bit of patience. We stopped, at this place, tried to fill up and learned a lesson about small towns. Patience is a virtue, I have none. LOL. After about ten-minutes I had $1.50 worth of fuel; we moved on. There's those Chrysler boys again, seemingly a little rowdier as the trip goes on.

Indy is where we met up with friends Rob Wolf, (Mopar Collectors Guide Guru), and Bill Uhl owner of the now famous "beeper," check out this rad ride in our FEATURE CAR section. No, Rob is not Photoshopped in, for this photo, he actually showed up, and right on time.

True to rumor, and Randy Holden's article in MCG, Rob did show up with about 80 pounds of Camera gear, three-thousand T-shirts, and filled this B-bodies trunk. Check us in a few days as we squeeze all this 'baggage" into our Challenger's trunk. Bet that guy had an easier time puttin' that ten in his old pickup. (See yesterdays PICS)
