Power Tour Photos of the Day 6-5-05

SUPER CHEBBIE SUNDAY!   When we awoke after torrential downpours and thunderstorms we found 7 dry chebbies and 1 very wet E-body.

Once back at Miller Park the clouds parted, the sun came out as did all of the Long Haulers.  Hard to believe this many folks are going to haul a$$ all the way to Florida.  Approximately 2500 pre-registered.

"Dude, Where's my car?"

Once on the road we were closely followed by some boys from Daimler Chrysler.

On the first part of the journey, there were Mopars all around.  Notice the Mod Top A body guy daring to be different......

Blue skies and Orange rides.

Rolling over 26,440.0 miles going 80 mph at 3,000 rpm.  Hey Thanks Gear Vendors!!

Theres those Chrysler Boys again, sticking with us at over 110.  They want to thank Gear Vendors too!

While others ate lunch with J.C. Whitney, we diverted our course to cruise by the now infamous Belvedere plant.  Birthplace of many fine Mopars.

Who put 10 great tomatoes in this itty bitty can?   Dodge didn't, this guy did......

Meet Matthew Heyen and Frank Griesser, both Development Engineers for Mercedes Benz in Tuscaloosa Alabama. We met these two on the first leg of the trip and our cars seemed to hit it off. As Frank put it, "the two have balanced harmonics". Frank, on the right, is from the Black Forest in Germany and is heading back there, with his Mopar in July. The car is awesome and has so many trick goodies, it boggles the mind. He studied noise vibration harshness, (NVH) whatever that is, and basically removed all that bad stuff from his Mopar. How, gets complicated but lets just say, he kept up with us and then some. If you frequent moparts.com, you know him as "mean machine". Now we're off to do some side-by-side burnouts, look us up tomorrow.

Aptly named, ‘The Worlds Greatest Road Trip,” we at totallyautoinc.com are going, “LIVE.”
